Daniel Beaty, Rha Goddess, Lydia R. Diamond, et al. Set for Arena Stage’s Black Voices

Daniel Beaty, Lydia R. Diamond, Marcus Gardley, Rha Goddess, and Paul A. Notice II will read from their works-in-process in a free public presentation as part of Arena Stage’s Black Voices: Stories We’re Planning to Tell. The event will be held at Georgetown University’s Gonda Theatre, on Sunday, January 17 at 7:30pm.

Black Voices will bring together 30 of America’s leading black playwrights and artistic leaders for a two-day symposium. Participants in the event (which features a component not open to the public) will also include Christina Anderson, Neil Barclay, Pearl Cleage, Kia Corthron, Karen Evans, Kamilah Forbes, Farrell Foreman, Sandra Gibson, Danai Gurira, Katori Hall, Paul Carter Harrison, Jacqueline Lawton, Jennifer Nelson, Lynn Nottage, Robert O’Hara, Psalmayene 24, Nikkole Salter, Regina Taylor, Dominic Taylor, David Emerson Toney, Shay Wafer, Talvin Wilks, and Tracey Scott Wilson.
