On Wednesday, September 5, Corey Cott took over the leading role of Jack Kelly in the Broadway production of the musical Newsies at the Nederlander Theatre on September 5.
He replaces Jeremy Jordan, who received a Tony Award nomination for originating the role. Cott recently graduated from Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Drama. He has also appeared in several productions at Pittsburgh CLO including Miss Saigon, The Sound of Music and Jesus Christ Superstar.
