Company XIV will present its latest production, Boylesque Bullfight, June 9-July 29 at Theater XIV in Bushwick, Brooklyn.

Directed and choreographed by Austin McCormick, Boylesque Bullfight reimagines Munro Leaf's 1936 children's book The Story of Ferdinand as an erotic, all-male baroque-burlesque spectacular.

The cast features Ryan Redmond as Ferdinand, Marcy Richardson as El Matador, and Laszlo Major as the Bumble Bee, along with Nicholas Katen, Scott Schneider, Benjamin Freedman, Ian Spring, Mark Osmundsen, and Jacoby Pruitt.

The production has costume and set design by Zane Pihlstrom, lighting design by Jeanette Yew, and makeup design by Sarah Cimino.

McCormick created Company XIV in 2006 wowing critics and audiences alike with a unique blend of circus, vaudeville, burlesque, dance, ballet, opera, live music, and lavish design.
