Cirkopolis Cast Performs Around New York City

Lifestyle photographer Jordan Matter teamed up with the cast of Cirque Eloize’s new show Cirkopolis to take a series of photos of the artists performing throughout New York City. The shots, collectively titled Circus Among Us, were a followup to Matter’s bestselling photo series, Dancers Among Us.

Cirkopolis combines a host of eclectic and mysterious characters as they rebel against monotony through a series of advanced acrobatic disciplines including rope, teeterboard, Cyr wheel, and contortion. Click here for more information and tickets and check out Matter’s photos in the gallery below.
