If you can make it on a New York City tour bus, you can make it anywhere.
Pop star Carly Rae Jepsen was officially inducted into the Ride of Fame in a ceremony held on Tuesday, February 25, at Pier 78. The honor recognizes celebrities who have influenced New York City culture, commemorating their achievements with a permanent decal on the front of one of the city's fleet of sightseeing buses.
Jepsen, who recently landed the title role in Rodgers Hammerstein's Cinderella at the Broadway Theatre, now lays claim to a mobile monument, honoring her Broadway debut, which includes a permanent Cinderella-inspired seat on the bus's upper deck. The lucky tourist who wins a ride in that seat may experience some extra Broadway magic.
