Di Yam Gazlonim! will be presented by National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene in October.

Jackie Hoffman will star in the National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene’s upcoming Yiddish-language concert production of GIlbert and Sullivan’s The Pirates of Penzance.
Di Yam Gazlonim!, with Yiddish libretto by Al Grand, and additional material and direction by Allen Lewis Rickman, will be performed at Symphony Space on October 25 at 2pm and 7pm.
Hoffman will play Rivke (Ruth), alongside Rickman as De Groyser General (Major General), Annabel Milisa Parker as Malke (Babel), Drew Seigla as Fayvl (Frederick), Steve Sterner as Groyser Gazlen (Pirate King), and Adam B. Shapiro as the Police Sergeant. In the ensemble are Bob Ader, Ashley Adler, Kirk Geritano, Hannah Goodman, Stephanie Lynne Mason, Eli Mayer, John Reed, and Yelena Shmulenson.
Zalmen Mlotek will serve as musical director and conductor of the nine-piece orchestra. The production will have English supertitles.
