Todd Berry and Jenny Odle Madden will join Steve Swift in Sister Myotis’s Bible Camp, to run June 11 – July 4 at the Abingdon Theatre. Jerre Dye will direct the production.
In the show, Swift brings his popular YouTube character, Sister Myotis, the fictional deaconess of an 80,000 member mega-church, to the stage. The piece focuses on a women’s retreat at which the sister, along with Ima Lone (Madden) and Velma Meedlemeyer (Berry), attempt to give backsliders, whoremongers, and the “chronically mediocre” a second chance at salvation.
