Lincoln Center Theater has announced casting for its upcoming production of Peter Parnell's new play Dada Woof Papa Hot, which begins performances October 15 and opens on November 9 at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater. Tony nominee Scott Ellis (On the Twentieth Century) will direct.

The newly announced cast will feature Tammy Blanchard (How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying), Patrick Breen (The Normal Heart), John Benjamin Hickey (The Normal Heart), Alex Hurt (Cat on a Hot Tin Roof), Kellie Overbey (On the Twentieth Century), John Pankow (Equivocation), and Stephen Plunkett (War Horse).

In Dada Woof Papa Hot, Alan and Rob (Hickey and Breen) are an older married couple with a three-year-old daughter and a life they fought for decades to be allowed to lead. But in the course of one school year, Alan, Rob, and their friends struggle with what it means to be married with children at this fast-changing cultural moment.

The production will have sets by John Lee Beatty, costumes by Jennifer von Mayrhauser, lighting by Peter Kaczorowski, and original music and sound by John Gromada.
