Broadway's Best to Sing "What the World Needs Now Is Love" on Maya & Marty

The stars will perform the track that benefits the victims of the Pulse nightclub shooting.

The toast of Broadway will appear on tonight's telecast of Maya Rudolph and Martin Short's NBC variety show, Maya & Marty, to perform "What the World Needs Now Is Love" in support of the victims of the Orlando shooting massacre at Pulse nightclub.

The Burt Bacharach/Hal David song was recorded as a single by Broadway Records and is currently available for download. One hundred percent of the proceeds will go to the LGBT Center of Central Florida.

The recording features Roger Bart, Andrea Burns, Tituss Burgess, Charles Busch, Ann Hampton Callaway, Paul Castree, Michael Cerveris, Kevin Chamberlin, Lilla Crawford, Cynthia Erivo, Victor Garber, Ana Gasteyer, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Frankie James Grande, Whoopi Goldberg, Joel Grey, Sean Hayes, Megan Hilty, James Monroe Iglehart, Judy Kuhn, Jose Llana, Anika Larsen, Beth Malone, Andrea Martin, Janet Metz, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Jessie Mueller, Kelli O’Hara, Rory O’Malley, Orfeh, Christine Pedi, Rosie Perez, Billy Porter, Alice Ripley, Chita Rivera, Keala Settle, Kate Shindle, Jennifer Simard, James Wesley, Juli Wesley, Lillias White, Marissa Jaret Winokur, and B.D. Wong.

"What the World Needs Now Is Love" (music by Burt Bacharach and lyrics by Hal David) is executive-produced by Seth Rudetsky, James Wesley, and Van Dean, and produced by Michael J. Moritz Jr. and Michael Croiter. Music direction is by Rudetsky, Steve Marzullo, and Marc Shaiman, orchestrations are by Cameron Moncur, and vocal arrangements are by Rudetsky. Marzullo conducts the 25-piece orchestra.
