Brad Oscar and Diego Pietro Are Married

Diego Prieto and Brad Oscar were married on April 16 at the Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater in Washington, D.C., according to The New York Times


Molly Smith, a Universal Life minister and the theater’s artistic director, officiated at the ceremony. The couple met in 2005 when performing in Arena Stage’s production of Damn Yankees, which was directed by Smith.

Oscar originated the role of Franz Liebkind in the Broadway production of The Producers, which earned him Award Tony nomination, and later played the role of Max Bialystock. His many stage credits inlcude The Addams Family, Monty Python’s Spamalot, Jekyll & Hyde, and Aspects of Love.

Pietro’s stage crdits include Ragtime and Barrio Grrrl!.
