Roundabout Theatre Company has announced that its world premiere of Theresa Rebeck's Bernhardt/Hamlet, starring Janet McTeer as Sarah Bernhardt, will extend for one week at American Airlines Theatre. Directed by Moritz von Stuelpnagel, it will now run through November 18.

Rebeck's new Roundabout-commissioned play is a comedy set against a lavish Shakespearean production that could make or break Bernhardt's career. Joining McTeer are Dylan Baker as Constant Coquelin and Jason Butler Harner as Edmond Rostand, with Matthew Saldivar as Alphonse Mucha, Nick Westrate as Maurice, Tony Carlin as Louis, Ito Aghayere as Rosamond, Brittany Bradford as Lysette, Aaron Costa Ganis as Raoul, and Triney Sandoval as Francois.

The creative team includes Beowulf Boritt (set design), Toni-Leslie James (costume design), Bradley King (lighting design), and Fitz Patton (original music and sound design).
