Soprano Anna Netrebko has cancelled her New York recital debut with pianist Elena Bashkirova at Carnegie Hall om Wednesday, October 26, according to The New York Times.
The paper states that the singer is being put by doctors on vocal rest due to the taxing nature of her starring role in the Metropolitan Opera’s staging of Donzinett’s Anna Bolena.
