Elaine Stritch, Jan Hooks and Anita Gillette will guest star on the May 6 episode of NBC’s 30 Rock, according to a report on TVGuide.com. They’ll be reprising their roles as the mothers of Jack (Alec Baldwin), Jenna (Jane Krakowski), and Liz (Tina Fey), respectively.
Stritch won a Tony Award for Elaine Stritch: At Liberty, and her many Broadway credits include Pal Joey, Goldilocks, Sail Away, Company, and A Delicate Balance. Hooks is best known for her work on Saturday Night Live and Designing Women. Gillette received a Tony Award nomination for Chapter Two and has also appeared on Broadway in Brighton Beach Memoirs, They’re Playing Our Song, Jimmy, Cabaret and Mr. President, among others.
