Actor Jeff Conaway Dies at 60

Actor Jeff Conaway has died at age 60 in California, according to published reports. He had been in a coma since May 11.


Conaway made his Broadway debut as a child actor in All the Way Home. He played numerous roles in the original Broadway production of Grease, including Danny Zuko, and portrayed Kenickie in the film version opposite John Travolta, Olivia Newton-John, and Stockard Channing. His last Broadway appearance was in the short-lived 1985 musical The News


He was well known for playing Bobby Wheeler in hit sitcom Taxi and his many other television credits include Berrenger’s, Murder, She Wrote, and Babylon 5.
