Thirteen years ago today, Robert Lopez, Jeff Marx, and Jeff Whitty's musical Avenue Q celebrated its opening night at Broadway's John Golden Theatre. A little show that could, it's Great White Way transfer followed an acclaimed off-Broadway run at the Vineyard Theatre. Conquering the 2004 Tonys and taking home the triple-crown of Best Musical, Best Book, and Best Score, the show went on to play 2,534 performances before transferring back off-Broadway to New World Stages, where its been running since 2009.

To celebrate the anniversary of its Broadway opening, we look back at the many stars who have visited Avenue Q and its human and puppet stars through the years.
