5th Avenue Theatre Presents How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying
How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying starts its run tonight at The Fifth Avenue Theatre.
The musical follows J. Pierrepont Finch, who is determined to climb the corporate ladder of the World Wide Wicket Company. The only problem is he wants this wild success to come without any work. The satirical take on the corporate world and its constituents highlights power, sex, ambition, and greed with iconic songs such as "I Believe in You," "Brotherhood of Man," and "The Company Way."
The musical features music and lyrics by Frank Loesser, with a book by Abe Burrows, Jack Weinstock, and Willie Gilbert. Choreography is by Bob Richard, and Billy Berry directs the cast, which includes Eric Ankrim as J. Pierrepont Finch, Sarah Rose Davis as Rosemary Pilkington, Adam Standley as Bud Frump, Allen Fitzpatrick as J.B. Biggley, Jessica Skerrit as Hedy LaRue, Sarah Rudinoff as Smitty, Cristin J. Hubbard as Miss Jones, Allen Galli as Mr. Twimble/Wally Womper, and Jeff Steitzer as Bert Bratt.
Performances will run through February 21.
