Taye Diggs to Direct Reading of Thoughts of a Colored Man

Taye Diggs will direct a reading of the new play Thoughts of a Colored Man, written by Keenan Scott II, on November 30 at New York Theatre Workshop's Fourth Street Theatre. NYTW presents the reading in association with producer Brian Moreland.
Inspired by the need to understand the human experience, Thoughts of a Colored Man challenges eight men as they seek to find their identity beyond the limitations, stereotypes, and obstacles that the world attempts to place upon them. Cast members include Charl Brown, Ryan Jamaal Swain, Biko Eisen-Martin, James T. Alfred, Ruffin Prentiss, Esau Pritchett, and Deshawyn Wyatte.
The reading will be choreographed by Jenny Parsinen.
