PHOTO FLASH: Bob Balaban, Josh Hamilton and More Join Wallace Shawn in a Reading of His Works

Writer and performer Wallace Shawn was joined by Bob Balaban, Deborah Eisenberg, Josh Hamilton, Sakina Jaffrey, Fran Lebowitz, Emily McDonnell, Julianne Moore, Mary-Louise Parker, Peter Carey, Mark Strand, and Frank Whaley for a reading of his works on Monday, November 22 at the Proshansky Auditorium at The CUNY Graduate Center.

The reading was held to celebrate the recent publication of Shawn’s nonfiction collection, Essays. Selections from the book will be read as well as from his plays, which include The Designated Mourner, Grasses of a Thousand Colors, Our Late Night, Aunt Dan and Lemon and The Fever.
