Moore, Smith, Williamson, et al. Set for Theater of the Stars’ Annie

Principal casting has been announced for the Theater for the Stars’ production of the beloved Martin Charnin-Charles Strouse-Thomas Meehan musical Annie, to play Atlanta’s Fox Theatre, January 9-13. The production will be directed and choreographed by Norb Joerder.

The cast will feature Kelsey Smith (Annie), Ruth Williamson (Miss Hannigan), Mark Zimmerman (Daddy Warbucks), Christa Moore (Grace), Laurent Giroux (Rooster) Betsy Dileillo (Lily St. Regis), Tuck Milligan (FDR), and Lola (Sandy). The creative team will include Robert Strickland (musical direction), Jason Kantrowitz (lighting), Peter Fitzgerald and Eric Bechtel (sound).

Annie, based on the comic strip Little Orphan Annie, opened on Broadway in April, 1977 and ran for over 2,300 performances. The show won seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical and Best Score.
