FOX has given a series order to Touch, which will star Kiefer Sutherland, according to reports. The series will debut in Spring 2012.

In the show, which is being written by Heroes creator Tim Kring, Sutherland will play a man who discovers that his 11-year-old autistic son, who communicates through numbers, may be able to predict the future.

The series will co-star stage veterans Danny Glover and Gugu Mbatha-Raw, who will play, respectively, an expert on gifted children and a social worker.

Sutherland starred in the recent Broadway revival of That Championship Season and is perhaps best known for starring as Jack Bauer on the hit FOX series 24.
