Kathy Bates to Guest Star on NBC’s The Office

Tony Award nominee Kathy Bates will begin a multi-episode arc on NBC’s hit sitcom The Office on February 4, according to published reports.

Bates will play the CEO of Sabre, the mysterious company that buys Dunder Mifflin, the company which provides the setting for the series.

Bates received a Tony nomination for ‘night, Mother. Her other stage credits include Frankie & Johnny in the Clair de Lune, Come Back to the 5 & Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean, The Trumpet of the Swans, and Fifth of July. She received the Academy Award for Misery and is a six-time Emmy Award nominee for her work in television, including Annie.
