Full Casting Set for Broadway’s Young Frankenstein

Full casting has been announced for the new musical Young Frankenstein, which will open at Broadway’s Hilton Theatre on November 8, with previews beginning on October 11.

The show, which features music by Mel Brooks, book by Brooks and Thomas Meehan based on Brooks’ 1974 film, and direction and choreography by Susan Stroman, will first play Seattle’s Paramount Theatre, August 7-September 1.

As previously announced, the cast will feature Roger Bart as Dr. Frankenstein, Megan Mullally as Elizabeth, Sutton Foster as Inga, Shuler Hensley as the Monster, Andrea Martin as Frau Blucher, Christopher Fitzgerald as Igor, and Fred Applegate as Inspector Kemp.

The ensemble will feature Heather Ayers, Jim Borstelmann, Paul Castree, Jen Lee Crowl, Jack Doyle, James Gray, Amy Heggins, Eric Jackson, Kristin Marie Johnson, Renee Feder, Matthew LaBanca, Kevin Ligon, Barrett Martin, Linda Mugleston, Christina Marie Norrup, Justin Patterson, Brian Shepard, Sarrah Strimel, Craig Waletzko, and Courtney Young.

The show’s creative team includes Robin Wagner (set design), William Ivey Long (costume design), Peter Kaczorowski (lighting design), Jonathan Deans (sound design), Doug Besterman (orchestrations), Patrick Brady (musical direction), and Glen Kelly (musical supervision).
