Elder, Everman, Logan, et al. Set for Goodspeed’s Singin’ in the Rain

The full cast and creative team have been announced for Goodspeed Musicals’ upcoming production of Singin’ in the Rain, the 1985 stage adaptation of the beloved MGM film about the early days of Hollywood talking pictures. The show, which will be directed by Ray Roderick, will run April 20-July 1 and will open officially on May 16.

Singin’ in the Rain has a book by Betty Comden and Adolph Green and a score by Arthur Freed and Nacio Herb Brown. The Goodspeed production will star David Elder as Don Lockwood, Scott Barnhardt as Cosmo Brown, Sarah Jane Everman as Kathy Selden, Stacey Logan as Lina Lamont, Michael Hayward-Jones as R.F. Simpson, and James Dybas as Roscoe Dexter.

The cast also includes Jodi Adkins, Paul Aguirre, Jacob ben Widmar, Melinda Cowan, Tim Falter, Jenny Florkowski, Jillanne Galter, Danny Gardner, Daryl Getman, Cahd Harlow, Drew Humphrey, Sarah Lin Johnson, Dorothy Stanley, Tara Jeanne Vallee, Kate Valllee, and Kevin Leary.

The production will feature choreography by Rick Conant, music direction by Michael O’Flaherty, orchestrations by Dan DeLange, set design by James Noone, costumes by Angela Wendt , and lighting by Kirk Bookman.
