The Band Wagon Star Tracey Ullman Set For The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

Ullman will appear along with ”The Hunger Games” star Josh Hutcherson.

Tracey Ullman, currently starring in the New York City Center Encores! production of The Band Wagon, is set to make a special appearance on the November 13 episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The Thursday episode will also include appearances by The Hunger Games star Josh Hutcherson and musical guest Echosmith.

A seven-time Emmy Award winner, Ullman is perhaps best known in America for The Tracey Ullman Show, which aired on Fox from 1987 to 1990. She has appeared widely across stage and screen including as Kate opposite Morgan Freeman in the 1990 Shakespeare in the Park production of The Taming of the Shrew and on Broadway in her one-woman show The Big Love in 1991. In addition, Ullman will play Jack’s Mother in the upcoming film version of Into the Woods.

The Band Wagon is based on the screenplay by Betty Comden and Adolph Green and features a new book by Douglas Carter Beane. The production, which runs through November 16, is directed by Kathleen Marshall, with musical direction by Todd Ellison. In addition to Ullman, the cast inclues Michael Berresse, Tony Sheldon, Tracey Ullman, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Laura Osnes, Michael McKean, and Don Stephenson.
