As Perez Hilton Sets to Exit Newsical, Emily McNamara, Susan Mosher Join Cast

Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton will be ending his limited run in Off-Broadway’s NEWSical the Musical at the Kirk Theatre on October 7, but the show has just announced two new performers who will shortly be joining the cast, both on October 15.

Susan Mosher, who has appeared on Broadway in Hairspray, will replace Leslie Kritzer, who has just been announced to play the female lead in Broadway’s Elf. Cabaret star Emily McNamara will temporarily fill in for Newsical regular Christine Pedi until October 26.

In composer-lyricist Rick Crom‘s musical revue of all the most talked-about headlines of the day, satirical spoofs of the most up-to-the-minute newsmakers and celebrities are added on a regular basis.
