See Rent's Original Broadway Cast Behind the Scenes of Fox's Live Broadcast

Idina Menzel, Jesse L. Martin, Taye Diggs, and more met with Vanessa Hudgens, Jordan Fisher, Mario, and more.

At Fox's live Rent broadcast last night, Idina Menzel, Jesse L. Martin, Taye Diggs, and other members of the original Broadway cast of Rent joined Vanessa Hudgens, Brandon Victor Dixon, Mario, and more. This morning, Fox released photos of the older and newer generations of Rent stars interacting with one another behind the scenes. Take a look at some of the photos above and below.

The cast of Rent on Fox featured Jordan Fisher as Mark Cohen, Brennin Hunt as Roger Davis, Tinashe as Mimi Marquez, Vanessa Hudgens as Maureen Johnson, Brandon Victor Dixon as Tom Collins, Valentina as Angel Dumott Schunard, Kiersey Clemons as Joanna Jefferson, and Mario as Benjamin Coffin III. Keala Settle served as the "Seasons of Love" soloist.

The television adaptation of Rent was written by Kristoffer Diaz and directed by Michael Greif, who staged the musical in 1996 at New York Theatre Workshop and on Broadway, as well as its 2011 revival at New World Stages. Alex Rudzinski served as live television director.
