Geffen Playhouse Presents Sex With Strangers
Sex With Strangers starts performances tonight at Geffen Playhouse's Audrey Skirball Kenis Theater.
Olivia knows that Ethan is better known for his sexual prowess than for his prose. So when the frustrated novelist meets the fast-talking blogger, she has concerns about becoming just another notch in his belt. As the relationship continues however, the boundaries between rewrites, romance, and royalties become harder and harder to draw, proving you can’t judge a book by its author.
Laura Eason’s play is directed by Kimberly Senior and features Stephen Louis Grush as Ethan and Rebecca Pidgeon as Olivia.
The creative team includes Sibyl Wickersheimer (set design), Josh Epstein (lighting design), Elisa Benzoni (costume design), Cricket S. Myers (sound design), and Julie Haber (stage manager).
Performances will run through April 10.
