Erich Bergen to Join Joe Piscopo, Burt Reynolds, Paul Sorvino in Musical Film How Sweet It Is

Erich Bergen will join the cast of the musical comedy film How Sweet It Is, currently in production in Los Angeles. It is scheduled for a fall 2012 release.

Written by Brian Herzlinger and Jay Black, the film focuses on a down-on-his-luck theater owner who has one last chance to save his legendary theater from the mob.

How Sweet It Is also stars Joe Piscopo, Erika Christensen, Paul Sorvino, Michael Paré, Eddie Griffin, and Burt Reynolds.

Herzlinger also directs the film, which is produced by Steven Chase, Rick Finkelstein, Suzanne DeLaurentiis, Ivan Kavalsky, Keith Weiner, and Matthew L. Weiner.

Bergen’s credits include the national tour and Las Vegas companies of Jersey Boys, as well as the television programs Gossip Girl and Desperate Housewives. His debut CD, The Las Vegas Sessions is available on iTunes and Amazon.
