A host of Broadway favorites will headline Tony nominee Michael Arden's upcoming revival of Stephen Sondheim and George Furth's Merrily We Roll Along at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in California. The musical runs November 23-December 18, with opening night set for November 30.

Based on the 1934 play of the same title by George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart, Merrily We Roll Along examines the friendship of musical theater songwriter Franklin Shepard, his writing partner Charlie Kringas, and aspiring author Mary Flynn. The show begins at the height of Franklin's fame in 1976 and moves backward in time through 1957 to explore how he got to where he is.

Five-time Emmy winner Wayne Brady (Kinky Boots) will take on the role of Charley Kringas, with Broadway favorites Aaron Lazar (The Last Ship) and Donna Vivino (Wicked) as Franklin Shepard and Mary Flynn. They are joined by Drama Desk Award winner Saycon Sengbloh (Eclipsed) as Gussie Carnegie, Whitney Bashor (Himself & Nora) as Beth Spencer, and Amir Talai (Can-Can) as Joe Josephson.

The ensemble includes Eric B. Anthony, Sandy Bainum, Melody Butiu, Doran Butler, Max Chucker, Sarah Daniels, Laura Dickinson, Kevin Patrick Doherty, Rachael Ferrera, Jennifer Foster, Travis Leland, Lyle Colby Mackston, Brent Schindele, and Maximus Brandon Verso.
