Broadway's longest-running American musical, Chicago, now in its 20th year, will welcome Veronica Dunne to the cast for a limited six-week engagement as Roxie Hart. Star of the Disney Channel's K.C. Undercover, Dunne will make her Broadway debut in the production, performing at the Ambassador Theatre from October 17-November 26.

In addition to her work on the Disney Channel, Dunne recently wrapped production on the Lionsgate film The Ninth Passenger with Jesse Metcalfe. The actress got her start onstage in the Lythgoe Family Production of Cinderella with Broadway veterans Shoshana Bean and Jennifer Leigh Warren, and went on to star in the stage productions of Into the Woods, Chicago, Cabaret, and most recently, the world premiere of Joe Iconis’ new musical, The Black Suits.

The Broadway cast of Chicago currently stars Dylis Croman as Roxie Hart, Lana Gordon as Velma Kelly, Jason Danieley as Billy Flynn, Raymond Bokhour as Amos Hart, NaTasha Yvette Williams as Matron "Mama" Morton, and R. Lowe as Mary Sunshine.

Featuring classic tunes by John Kander and Fred Ebb, Chicago tells the story of Roxie Hart, a nightclub dancer who murders her on-the-side lover after he threatens to walk out on her. Desperate to avoid conviction, she dupes the public, the media, and her rival cellmate, Velma Kelly, by hiring Chicago's slickest criminal lawyer to transform her crime into a barrage of sensational headlines. Recipient of six 1997 Tony Awards, the revival is directed by Walter Bobbie.
