Tony Nominees From Hamilton, The Color Purple, and More Light Empire State Building

Members of the 2015-16 class of Tony Award nominees headed to the top of the Empire State Building on June 7 for the annual observation deck photo op and lighting ceremony, one of the many precursors to the yearly Tony Awards ceremony, set this year for June 12 at the Beacon Theatre.

On hand to explore the marvelous view of Manhattan were a group that included Hamilton cast members Phillipa Soo and Christopher Jackson; The Color Purple's Cynthia Erivo and Danielle Brooks; Eclipsed's Saycon Sengbloh and Pascale Armand, and many others.
