See Rosemary Harris as Mrs. Higgins in My Fair Lady
Harris succeeded Diana Rigg in the role on September 11.
Tony Award winner Rosemary Harris (The Road to Mecca) recently joined Lincoln Center Theater's award-winning production of Lerner & Loewe's My Fair Lady in the role of Mrs. Higgins, and the production has released the first photos of its newest star.
Harris joins a cast headed by Lauren Ambrose, Harry Hadden-Paton, Norbert Leo Butz, Allan Corduner, Jordan Donica, Linda Mugleston, and Clarke Thorell. The production's ensemble features Cameron Adams, Shereen Ahmed, Kerstin Anderson, Heather Botts, Rebecca Eichenberger, SuEllen Estey, Christopher Faison, Steven Trumon Gray, Adam Grupper, Michael Halling, Joe Hart, Todd A. Horman, Sasha Hutchings, Kate Marilley, Liz McCartney, Justin Lee Miller, Rommel Pierre O'Choa, Keven Quillon, JoAnna Rhinehart, Tony Roach, Lance Roberts, Blair Ross, Christine Cornish Smith, Paul Slade Smith, Samantha Sturm, Matt Wall, Michael Williams, Minami Yusui, and Lee Zarrett. Harry Hadden-Paton is appearing with the support of the Actors' Equity Association.
Adapted from George Bernard Shaw's play and Gabriel Pascal's motion picture Pygmalion, My Fair Lady, with a book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner and music by Frederick Loewe, premiered on Broadway on March 15, 1956. Directed by Bartlett Sher, the new revival features choreography by Christopher Gattelli, with sets by Michael Yeargan, lighting by Donald Holder, sound by Marc Salzberg, and Tony-winning costume design by Catherine Zuber.
