Frozen, Margaritaville Salute Broadway History With Oklahoma! Birthday Celebration

The Rodgers and Hammerstein musical premiered at the St. James Theatre 75 years ago.

Stars from Broadway's Frozen and Escape to Margaritaville saluted the 75th anniversary of the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical Oklahoma! on March 31 with post-performance singalongs.

Oklahoma! opened at the St. James Theatre, where Frozen currently runs, on March 31, 1943. There, cast member John Riddle began with an a cappella version of Oklahoma!'s sweeping opening number, "Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin'," eventually joined by the entire company. Check it out below.

Escape to Margaritaville also participated in a singalong, with Jimmy Buffett joining the cast at curtain call for a special reggae-themed version of "Surrey With the Fringe on Top." Watch below.
