Flashback Friday: Before Lin-Manuel Miranda Leaves Hamilton, Watch His First Tony Speech

Earlier this week, Lin-Manuel Miranda added a pair of Tony Awards to his mantle for the book and score of his juggernaut musical Hamilton. Shortly thereafter, it was announced that Miranda, who is booked up solid with projects in the very near future, will depart the production July 9. To celebrate his run, we thought it was only fitting to flashback to 2008, when this then on-the-rise Broadway baby accepted his first Tony, for his score to In the Heights. Look, he made a hat:
