Watch Cher's Surprise Appearance at the Broadway Show About Her Life

On November 27, Cher made a surprise appearance at Broadway's The Cher Show. Check out video from the event, plus a photo of Cher with the three leading Chers from the musical below:

Based on the life of the international pop star, the biomusical features a book by Rick Elice (Jersey Boys), direction by Jason Moore (Avenue Q), choreography by Christopher Gattelli, with Daryl Waters providing orchestrations, arrangements, and musical supervision. Cher's classic songs make up the score. The production is set for an official press opening on December 3.

SiriusXM will present The Cher Show, Making the Musical beginning December 1 on SiriusXM's Stars channel. This new one-hour special features Tony Award winning producer Jeffrey Seller (Hamilton) taking the listener backstage at his newest Broadway musical. The special concludes with Cher giving Seller her thoughts on sitting in the audience and watching her life unfold on the Broadway stage.

The Cher Show stars Tony nominee Stephanie J. Block (Falsettos), joined by Teal Wicks (Wicked) and Micaela Diamond in the role of the iconic singer and actor at various times in her life and career. Also in the cast are Tony nominee Jarrod Spector (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical) as Sonny Bono, Tony nominee Michael Berresse (Kiss Me, Kate) as Bob Mackie, Michael Campayno (Wicked) as Rob Camilletti, Matthew Hydzik (It Shoulda Been You) as Gregg Allman, and Tony nominee Emily Skinner (Prince of Broadway) as Georgia Holt.
