Broadway Goes Mask-Optional Beginning in July

Broadway productions will adopt a "mask optional" policy for the month of July, the Broadway League has announced.

Audience masking protocols for August and beyond will be evaluated on a monthly basis as the League continues to monitor the Covid-19 situation. Further details will announced in mid-July.

Regardless, audience members are still encouraged to wear masks in theaters, the League said.
