Broadway’s Godspell to Allow Live Tweeting at February 19 Performance

The Broadway production of Godspell, at Circle in the Square Theatre, will allow a limited number of patrons to tweet live during the Sunday, February 19 at 7:30pm.

Fifteen of the show’s most vocal Twitter fans will be selected to participate in this “Tweet Seat” performance, and given a free ticket to the show. A limited number of additional “Tweet Seats” can be purchased for $99. The seats will be in a designated section of the theater that press notes claim “will not be disruptive to other audience members in attendance.”

Featuring music and new lyrics by composer Stephen Schwartz and original concept and direction by John-Michael Tebelak, Godspell is directed by Daniel Goldstein and choreographed by Christopher Gattelli.

The cast is led by Hunter Parrish as Jesus and Wallace Smith as Judas, and also features Uzo Aduba, Nick Blaemire, Celisse Henderson, Morgan James, Telly Leung, Lindsay Mendez, Anna Maria Perez de Tagle, and George Salazar.
