Stephen R. Buntrock, Erin Dilly, Randy Harrison, Jenny Powers, et al. Set for Berkshire Theatre Festival’s Season

Berkshire Theatre Festival (BTF) has announced additional casting for its summer season.

For the theater’s opening production of The Who’s Tommy (July 7-16), the company will feature James Barry, Randy Harrison, Jenny Powers, Angela Robinson, Christopher Gurr, Hannah Shankman, Jordan Barbour, Rory Donovan, Jaclyn Miller, Ben Rosenblatt, Zi Alikhan, Aaron Barcelo, Chris Chianesi, Brett Dameron, Rebecca Leigh, Connor McNinch, Paige Scott and Chris Vecchia. Eric Hill will direct the musical, which will have musical direction by Randy Redd and choreography by Gerry McIntyre.

In addition, BTF has announced that Rachel Bay Jones and Walter Hudson will join the previously announced David Adkins and Jurian Hughes in A. R. Gurney’s Sylvia (July 12-30), to be directed by Anders Cato. The theater has also announced the complete company for Kathleen Clark’s In The Mood (August 2-13), which will be directed by Marc Bruni and feature Stephen R. Buntrock, Erin Dilly, Arnie Burton, Jen Cody, Johanna Day, and Damian Young.

David Auburn’s production of Tennessee Williams’ Period of Adjustment (August 16 – September 3) will have a company comprised of Mia Dillon, Rebecca Brooksher, Paul Fitzgerald, Anny Giobbe and C.J. Wilson, while Karen Allen’s production of Michael Weller’s Moonchildren (June 28 – July 16) will feature Hale Appleman, Kale Brown, Aaron Costa Ganis, Carter Gill, Matt Harrington, Jesse Hinson, Andrew Joffe, Jeff Kent, Norma Kuhling, Joe Paulik, Samantha Richert, Miriam Silverman and David Wade Smith.

Under Brian Roff’s direction, Greg Keller’s Dutch Masters (July 19 – August 6) will feature Amari Cheatom and Christian Coulson, and Tara Franklin, Keira Naughton, Nick Dillenburg and James Ludwig will appear in Chris Newbound’s Birthday Boy (August 30 – September 3; September 29 – October 16), directed by Wes Grantom.
