Brian Dykstra, Susan Ferrara, Christopher Hirsh, and Lori Prince will star in the world premiere of renowned concert pianist and award-winning writer Israela Margalit’s First Prize, to play the Arclight Theatre, April 28-May 21, with an opening on May 2. Margarett Perry will direct.
The play explores a young woman’s quest for glory and fulfillment in the cutthroat world of classical music, and is inspired by the playwright’s real-life experience. The production features Margalit’s piano playing from her numerous recordings.
