Ensemble Studio Theatre Announces Plays by Frank Basloe and Leah Nanako Winkler

The spring offerings will continue the 2015-2016 season.

Ensemble Studio Theatre has announced the continuation of its 2015-2016 season, which will include Please Continue by Frank Basloe and the world premiere of Kentucky by Leah Nanako Winkler, directed by Morgan Gould. Both productions will run at EST’s Curt Dempster Theatre.

Please Continue, directed by William Carden, will be presented in association with The Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, from February 3-February 28. Opening night will be on February 11. The cast will include Haskell King, David Jackson, Tommy Schrider, Jared McGuire, Jonathan Randell Silver, Dylan Dawson, Alex Herrald, and Molly Carden.

Kentucky is presented in association with The Radio Drama Network and Page 73 Productions. Morgan Gould will direct the production, which will begin performances in April for a limited run. Casting will be anounced at a later date.

EST has also announced that they will continue partnering with the Sloan Foundation through the EST/Sloan Project, which has commissioned and developed hundreds of new science-themed plays. 2015 grantees include Will Aronson, Sarah Hammond, Susan Bernfield, Alexander Borinsky, Sam Chanse, Dustin Chinn, Sarah DeLappe, Ryan Dowler, Ryan Fogarty, Keli Garrett, Joe Gilford, Robert Lyons, Ana Nogueria, Tommy Smith, Will Snider, Craig Hatkoff, and Eleanor Burgess.
