Clay Aiken, who plays Sir Robin in the Broadway production of Monty Python’s Spamalot, received his caricature at the world-famous Sardi’s restaurant on December 23.

Since appearing on the FOX-TV reality series American Idol, in which he was a finalist, Aiken has released numerous albums, including A Thousand Different Ways and Measure of a Man, co-authored a best-selling book Learning to Sing: Hearing the Music in Your Life, and played six sold-out concert tours. He made headlines this year by fathering a son, Parker, and coming out in an interview with People magazine.

Monty Python’s Spamalot has a book by Eric Idle and a score by Eric Idle and John DuPrez. It is directed by Mike Nichols, with choreography by Casey Nicholaw. The show won three Tony Awards, including Best Musical. The show is scheduled to end its run on January 11.
