Oscar winner and stage veteran Robert Redford will participate in a series of events in conjunction with a screening series of his films, Robert Redford: Artist & Activist, which runs September 8-16 at BAM. For a September 12 screening of All The President’s Men, Redford will be joined by reporters Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein, the subjects of the film.
The series will also include screenings of The Way We Were, The Candidate, Downhill Racer, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Quiz Show, The Sting, Out of Africa, The Natural, The Electric Horseman, Three Days of the Condor, and Ordinary People, which earned him the Academy Award for Best Director.
BAM will also present the films of Oscar winner Juliette Binoche, September 11-30, in conjunction with her performance that month at BAM in the dance-theater piece In-I. Binoche will take part in a Q&A on Tuesday, September 21 following a screening of Blue; other films in the series include Damage, Flight of the Red Balloon, Lovers on the Bridge, Code Unknown, Summer Hours, and The English Patient, for which she won the Academy Award.
