The authors of the new musical Next to Normal, Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey, will join record producer Joel Moss at the Apple Store in SoHo at 6pm on Monday, May 18 to discuss the making of the show’s recently released cast recording. There will also be a live performance of some of the show’s selections.
The musical, now at the Booth Theatre, stars Alice Ripley, J. Robert Spencer, Aaron Tveit, Jennifer Damiano, Adam Chanler-Berat, and Louis Hobson. It received 11 Tony Award nominations, including Best Musical. It previously played New York’s Second Stage Theatre and Washington D.C’s Arena Stage, with both productions directed by Michael Greif, who is helming the Broadway version.
