DRG Records will record a live performance of Eartha Kitt at the Café Caryle, the actress-singer's current cabaret show, for an October release.

In the show, which runs through July 1, Kitt sings such signature tunes as "Yuska Dara," "Waray, Waray," and "C'est Si Bon," as well as such standards as "La Vie En Rose," "Ain't Misbehavin'," "September Song," and "I've Got My Love to Keep Me Warm."

In their TheaterMania review, Barbara and Scott Siegel wrote: "This nightlife legend is giving what may be the best show of her life. An ageless sex kitten, she purrs with a comic sensuality that continues to be catnip for audiences of all ages while also showing off her still considerable musical chops."
