Tony Award nominee John Ellison Conlee (Murder Ballad), David Costabile (Breaking Bad), and Amanda Quaid (Cock) will star in Playwrights Horizons' world premiere production of Madeleine George's The (Curious Case of the) Watson Intelligence from November 15-December 29. Leigh Silverman (Chinglish) directs the work, which officially opens December 9.

The (Curious Case of the) Watson Intelligence explores the many iterations of Watson (Conlee) in popular culture: Sherlock Holmes' trusty sidekick, the engineer who built Alexander Graham Bell's first telephone, the Jeopardy!-winning super-computer, and a present-day techno-geek who is just looking for love.

The production features scenic design by Louisa Thompson, costume design by Anita Yavich, lighting design by Mark Barton, sound design by Matt Tierney, and original music by Peter Stopchinski. The production stage manager is Cole P. Bonenberger.
