Stage and screen favorite Vanessa Williams was inducted into Gray Line New York’s Ride of Fame on Thursday, September 27 at a noontime ceremony at Pier 78.
The actress/singer was on hand for the ribbon-cutting ceremony, during which a custom decal was unveiled on the front of the open-top, red double-decker bus. Also on hand was celebrity photographer and reality TV star Mike Ruiz, who took the photo which is featured on the bus.
Williams’ numerous stage credits include Kiss of the Spider Woman, Sondheim on Sondheim, and Into the Woods. Her new television series, 666 Park Avenue, premieres on September 30. She has previously been seen on Desperate Housewives and Ugly Betty.
