The New York Musical Theatre Festival has announced that two of this year’s musicals have received extensions due to popular demand.

The all-American dark comedy Julian Po, which features a book and lyrics by Andrew Barrett and music by Ira Antelis, has added a performance on July 10 at 5 pm at The Pershing Square Signature Center. Volleygirls , a contemporary musical about a washed-up Olympian starring Susan Blackwell ([title of show]), has added performances on July 23 at 5 pm, July 26 at 1pm, and July 27 at 1:30 pm, also at Signature Center.

Now in its tenth year, NYMF exists to revitalize musical-theater culture by discovering and promoting new musical-theater artists and nurturing a vibrant and innovative community.
