David Henry Hwang’s Chinglish to Play Hong Kong Arts Festival

David Henry Hwang‘s comedy Chinglish will be presented in the 2013 Hong Kong Arts Festival, running March 1-6, according to published promotional materials. The production is to be directed by Leigh Silverman, who helmed the Chicago and Broadway stagings of the comedy.

In Chinglish, an American businessman travels to China to launch a new business venture, and ends up falling for a sexy and mysterious government bureaucrat.

Casting and a design team for the production will be announced in the future.
