rogerandtom, the critically-acclaimed meta-comedy by Julien Schwab, will return to HERE's Main Stage this July after a previous run this past March. Beginning previews July 6 and opening July 13, the Personal Space Theatrics production, directed by Artistic Director Nicholas Cotz, will run through August 24.
Suzy Jane Hunt, Eric T. Miller, and Richard Thieriot star in the convention-smashing play, which explores what happens when a man finds out he's part of the cast of the play that he (and the audience) are about to see. rogerandtom received its world premiere in 2003 and has since been seen in Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Boston, and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Schwab is the author of the plays Nicotine and Beautiful Morning.
Featured on the creative team are David Esler (set design), Casey Smith (properties design), Chris Rummel (sound design), Holly Rihn (costume design), and Nastassia Jimenez (lighting design).
Personal Space Theatrics is a company dedicated to challenging the way the audience experiences theater, creating a community within a shared space by removing the fourth wall barrier between stage and audience.
