Albert Christmas, Stacey Sargeant, Juson Williams Set for NYMF's Central Avenue Breakdown

The New York Musical Theatre Festival and Moldy Fig Productions LLC have announced casting for Central Avenue Breakdown by Kevin Ray, Andrea Lepcio, and Suellen Vance, running July 19-22 at The Pershing Square Signature Center. Christopher Windom will direct, with musical direction by Jonathan Smith.

Central Avenue Breakdown tells the story of Bill and Jim Marcel, brothers and sax players, battling to carve out unique voices amidst the rising musical movements of swing and bop.

The cast will feature Albert Christmas, Juson Williams, Stacey Sargeant, Joshua Boone, Rod Lawrence, Jeremiah Zinger, Britton Smith, Kimberly Dora Exum, Rebecca LaChance, Anne Marie Vick, Sheldon Henry, and Sheila Jones.

The design team will include Janell Berte (costume design), Josh Leibert (sound design), and Grant W. S. Yeager (lighting design).
